Halo: A supernaturally iridescent gold with a flush of the softest pink in its base.

We created this as a soft, angelic reference to the glow of gilded artwork. Starting with a base of red bole clay, Renaissance artisans would carefully overlay delicate translucent sheets of pure gold, creating radiance with a warm rosy flush radiating from behind the gold leaf. They would then meticulously press in intricate details to create halos around the heads of holy figures.

Halo brings the translucent glow of gold and a hint of rose to skin, resulting in a bright, dimensional iridescence that looks like it’s radiating from within.
